Terms of Service

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live) to use Pippin. You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at pippinaiteam@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

2. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own scheduling. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the App except where the law expressly permits.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App in violation of any law or regulation.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to compromise the App’s security or infrastructure.
• Access the App through automated means or abuse rate limits, including AI request limits.
• Upload unlawful content, or content you don’t have the right to share, including through AI attachments.
• Use the AI features to generate unlawful, harmful, or abusive content.

4. AI features

Pippin’s assistant and automatic scheduling rely on third-party large language models (see the Privacy Policy for details on what is shared). AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a given purpose. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated schedules and suggestions before relying on them, and Pippin shows AI changes for your confirmation. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party AI providers, whose handling of data is governed by their own terms and policies. AI features are optional and can be disabled at any time.

5. Subscriptions & in-app purchases

• Pippin Plus is an auto-renewing subscription offering premium features, available in monthly and yearly plans, with an introductory free trial where offered.
• Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. If you start a free trial, you won’t be charged until the trial ends unless you cancel beforehand.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage & cancel. Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
• Refunds. Payments are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple’s refund policies; we don’t process payments or issue refunds directly.

6. Apple App Store terms

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and we — not Apple — are solely responsible for the App. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them.

7. Health & wellbeing disclaimer

Pippin’s sleep, energy, and fatigue features are planning aids only. They are not medical advice, not a diagnosis, and not a substitute for professional care. Always consult a qualified professional regarding health, sleep, or wellbeing concerns.

8. Intellectual property

The App and its content — including text, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by Pippin and protected by intellectual-property laws. Your schedule, tasks, and other content you create remain yours; you grant us only the limited license needed to operate, sync, and improve the service for you.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. You use the App at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pippin will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for missed events, deadlines, or lost data, arising from your use of the App. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using Pippin and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service. You can delete your account and data in Settings → Delete Account.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll post the new version with an updated date and, for material changes, notify you in the App. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
